What we fit in your laptop
SSD installation
We replace the old hard drive with an SSD. Which SSD your laptop takes depends on the model. We fit a drive you bought yourself, or we order one and fit it for you.
RAM upgrade
We add memory or replace what's there with a bigger module. How much memory a laptop supports also depends on the model.
Moving your system to the new SSD
We can clone Windows, your programs and your files from the old drive to the new SSD, so you don't have to install everything again.
An upgrade helps when a slow drive or too little memory is holding your laptop back. If the cause is a virus or overheating, new parts won't change that.

The price depends on your laptop and on which SSD or how much memory we fit. After the check, we tell you what we recommend and what it costs. We only start work once you confirm the price.

Questions about laptop upgrades
Will my laptop run better after an upgrade?
If a slow drive or too little memory is the cause, an upgrade helps. How much depends on the laptop, so we don't promise numbers. If the cause is somewhere else, we'll tell you after the check.
Will I have to reinstall Windows and my programs?
Not necessarily. We can clone your existing system to the new SSD. If you'd rather have a clean Windows installation, we do that too.
What about my data?
When you call, tell us what you need to keep. We also do data transfer and backups.
Can I buy the SSD or RAM myself?
You can. We fit a part you bought yourself, or we can order one for you and fit it.
Do I get my old drive back?
Yes. The old drive and memory are yours, and we give them back to you.
