Privacy policy

This page explains what data we process when you visit this website or contact us, why, how long we keep it and how you can use your rights.

Who processes your data

The controller is CyberSplit, a sole trader business (obrt za usluge). The business name, tax ID (OIB) and registered seat are at the bottom of every page.

What data we process and why

We do not ask you to register, and the site has no forms that send us data.

• Visit measurement (only with your consent). Google Analytics 4, which we load through Google Tag Manager, records which pages you open, how long you stay, your device and browser type and your approximate location. According to Google, IP addresses are not logged or stored. This shows us which pages help visitors.
• Clicks on call or WhatsApp (only with your consent). When you click the phone number or WhatsApp, our server sends Google Analytics a record of that click: which page it was on, which button and a random identifier. The record does not contain your phone number or the content of any message.
• Your consent choice. It is stored only in your browser, under the name cs_consent, and is not sent to anyone.
• Running and protecting the site. Cloudflare, which the site runs through, and our server provider Hetzner process your IP address and request details so the site works and is protected from abuse.
• Calling or messaging us. When you call or write to us on WhatsApp, we see your phone number and the content of your message. We use them to reply and to arrange a repair. WhatsApp is provided by Meta and its privacy policy applies to it.

Legal basis

• Consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) for visit measurement. You give it in the Privacy settings window and can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interest (point f) for running and protecting the site.
• Steps taken at your request before a contract, and performance of a contract (point b), when you contact us about a repair.

Cookies and similar records

Until you agree, the site sets no measurement cookies and does not load Google Tag Manager. We do not use advertising cookies.

• _ga: tells visitors apart. Lasts 2 years.
• _ga_ with our measurement ID: keeps the state of a visit. Lasts 2 years.
• cs_consent (browser storage): remembers your consent choice.

Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page. Withdrawing consent stops further measurement. You can delete cookies that are already set in your browser settings.

Who else receives data

• Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager). Their privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
• Cloudflare, Inc. (traffic to the site).
• Hetzner Online GmbH (the server the site runs on).
• Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (WhatsApp), only if you write to us there.

Transfers outside the European Union

Some of them also process data outside the European Union, including in the USA. Transfers rely on mechanisms in the GDPR, for example standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

• Measurement data in Google Analytics: 14 months, then it is deleted.
• Consent choice: in your browser until you delete it.
• Calls and messages: as long as needed to arrange and carry out the repair, and as long as the law requires, for example accounting rules.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to processing and to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. Send your request by phone on +385 97 613 1940 or on WhatsApp. We reply within one month.

Complaint to the supervisory authority

If you think we process your data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP): azop.hr.

Changes to this policy

We may change this policy, for example when we add a new tool. The date of the last change is at the top of the page.
